SeaWorld San Antonio
This wet theme park is a treat for anyone who loves animals, roller coasters and fabulous shows. Not only does SeaWorld San Antonio have Shamu (the performing killer whale), it also has walk-through habitats where you can watch sea lions, sharks, fish, penguins and flamingos do what they would do in the wild. For those who crave being a part of the action, there is an inverted roller coaster (do this on an empty stomach), along with a variety of water rides, where not a hair on your head will be dry after riding. Check out the water-skiing shows and the restaurants and be sure to stick around at night for laser shows and seasonal concerts.
I visited SeaWorld over the Christmas holiday. I was so disappointed. Drove 5 hours from Dallas and was out of 400 just on tickets, food and parking. There are only 4 rides that my 12 year old could get on. My 14 year old son and I was very upset when we tour the park in 2 hours and saw basically nothing other than a handful of animals. Paid $55.00 for each ticket. If you have a child over 12 this is not a place you should take them. It is not worth the $55 ticket that you pay per person.
We spent the day at Sea World yesterday and could not have been more disappointed with the way the entire park is headed. We have season passes, but this will be the last year that we buy them. Our first stop is always the Dolphin Feeding/Observation Area and even though the cost of feeding increases seemingly every time we visit, we still splurge on fish for our two girls to feed the dolphins. Not yesterday! They now have designated feeding and observation areas and you can only go into the feeding area if you have purchased fish! The prices in the gift stores have increased, the beer house no longer serves samples (one of the few reasons to visit that end of the park!) and now you can purchase a line jumping pass! It's not enough to make money on t-shirts and stuffed animals, over priced drinks and food! Sea World is loosing money on it's new Fun Pass and trying to make up for it in very irresponsible and buzz kill ways! A park in Texas, where the temp. yesterday was 103 should be doing a little more for it's customers than offering $15 misting fans! At some point it has to be about more than money! It use to be.
i love this park i thought it was really awsome and it is great for both adults and children! i really cant find anything negative to say other then there was a lot of people but even like that the line were moving very quickly. my two years old loved it and so did my husband and i. it was worth it!
oh my where to start? my first time to sea world.it was amazing.the things they got the amimals to do was great. we went on the dolphin tour love at first sight.i could of stayed forever. if you have never been you have to go.it is so worth it the memories will last a lifetime.what i didnt like nothing the whole thing was a really great experiance..cant explain the feelings so great.i will never forget. hope to go back soon.
Firstly, why can't you bring in your own food and snacks? Their prices are ridiculous. The animals have very little space as well which is more depressing than entertaining. Everyone, go to Fiesta Texas instead.
the ticket is too expensive. there is good package for annual or full year ticket price. but we were going over there for once. we turn out didnt go in there because of the ticket price. even with the $4 discount coupond.
This theme park was the best i ever went to. I loved the roller coasters, the water park, and the shows they perform was awesome. Only thing I didn't like about was the long lines, but everyone have to deal with it at every theme park they go to. Can't wait to go back.
