Overpriced, Waste of Time!
I have been to Sea World 3 times before in the past and the experience was always positive, NOT THIS TIME.
First off on top of $47 per person tickets (Internet Special) I have to pay $15-$20 for parking? Then we go to the Shamu show and I think we were all falling asleep, it has really become boring, repetitive and predictable. Nothing was amazing about it at all.
Secondly, We had probably the worst food we have ever eaten outside of a convenient store and paid 4-star prices. Then when I wanted to refill my 20 ounce Coke which was still full of ice after I finished it they said they do not refill those. It was $2.85 for a cup of Coke flavored ice! Really Sea World? You cheap a**holes.
Fortunately, we snuck enough bottles waters in to keep my family five hydrated without having to buy more. Why anybody would want to buy an all you can eat pass there is beyond me. They should either allow you to bring in your own food, like Schlitterbahn just down the road or allow local outside caterers to bring in good food for those prices.
Lastly, The people working their were unfriendly, uncaring, unhelpful, and in some cases lacking hygiene. Bert (from Bert and Ernie) you need to invest in some deodorant man. You about made my 10 year puke after taking a picture. Stop worrying about crumbs in the bed from Ernie and bathe!
All in all it would be a minor miracle if we ever made it there again, plenty of other more customer friendly places to spend money on. And yes kids usually love because they are not dealing with money, employee attitudes and jerkoff customers at the park who are never corrected by the staff.
One other thing, the speed pass system is a joke (and another ripoff). I saw the same girls (I don't know if they were speed pass or not) ride the Rio Loco 4 times before we rode it just once. They realized that the Exit area was the same as the speed pass area and just kept turning around and riding it again and again! So it took us an hour to ride a stupid raft ride just meant to douse you with water. I could have gone to the Sesame street area and got doused by some little 3 foot tall idiot, immediately, no waiting.
Just DON'T GO, spend your money at Schlitterbahn and bring your own food and drinks.
