Riverside Golf Course

We played Riverside for the first time on Monday, April 25, 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The course's narrow fairways require straight tee shots if you would like to play in your fairway! There are enough hazards scattered around the course to keep you contantly thinking about your next shot: a little sand here; a little water there; a grove of trees over there. The sand traps and bunkers were well maintained and the greens were, in my experience, above average, even though they had recently been aereated and needed another resanding to fill in the holes. Riverside is an excellent municipal course with more than enough challenge for even the low handicapper. We'll play it again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a city golf course.
