This Catholic church boasts a large and active congregation in the heart of North San Antonio. With daily mass, numerous parish committees and strong community organizations, there is something with which everyone can become involved. In addition to regular church services and activities, Blessed Sacrament offers a private school, day care and an after-school program for children.
Blessed Sacrament Church used to open up thier entire church for Eucharistic Adoration every Friday. It was a beautiful place to go every Friday to spend time with our Lord.
They have since created a small room with very limited seating, the people going to adoration now hear each others, breathing, bodily sounds. What was once one of the most desirable places to go for adoration has become one of the worst.
I can understand church administrators wanting to save money on electrical bills. but as the church's namesake "Blessed Sacrament" you would think they would not have put Jesus Christ in a closet.
