Malibu Grand Prix
Malibu castle has something to do for just about everyone, with two 18-hole miniature golf courses, baseball/softball batting cages, wheel-to-wheel go-cart racing, paddle boats, videogames, air hockey, pinball and so much more. If you had fun at Malibu Grand Prix but wish that you could race against other people and not just the clock, this place is for you. It also has a full-service snack bar for patrons to enjoy while deciding what they want to do next.
This place is old and hasnt been well maintained.golf and games are very over priced and management has a bunch of lazy teens running the place.I hadnt been there in about 6 years and i dont recommend anyone wasting their time and money.
I took my family there this past Saturday thinking that I was going to spend alot of money but the Manager told my that for only $18.99 per person We could have unlimited golf, cars and boats all day. I asked why so cheap and she told me that Malibu knows that the price of everything else is going up so why should the price of fun go up. She was right. Me and my family will go back. The long lines did not bother us because where else can we go for that much fun and still leave with money in my pocket
After viewing the website, I attempted to call to make sure the pass we wanted to purchase was still available. Of course, I got a recording only. We decided to go on over. After arriving, we were told that we couldn't purchase the pass on site--we would have to go to a grocery store to buy it. aparently, the corporate office didn't get the memo and did not put this fact on the website. The manager did not know what was on the website for San Antonio. The lines were long and we really didn't get much of a discount by buying the 4 hour pass. The kids enjoyed the time, but the pain of trying to do business with this company made it a very memorable, mediocre experience I don't wish to repeat!
i like the games and other fun activities that Malibu has to offer. i especially enjoy the go-karts, but i really dis-like the two young immature employees who run the go karts. they seemed to goof off too much, and not pay too much attention to the guests. When one of them was asked about what was going on, he announced loudly among the guests,"I dont get paid enough to work hard." i was disappointed and felt like leaving, im not coming back for a good while
The place is really enjoyable. It really defines the word 'fun' for those who don't do much or way too much. It's a place where one can interact with one another while having loads of fun. It kind of reminds one the carnivals one sees on TV, but far more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone. Good clean fun for family and friends!
