Olympia Hills Golf Course, Universal City

After hearing all the good reviews about this course, I decided to give it a try. After putting our bags in the cart, we went into the clubhouse to check in, only to be greeted by a very rude staff member named Chris Gillette. How do I know his whole name? He made me send him an email of my confirmations and to re-print them. This guy wasted 15 minutes of our tee time just to be a you know what. On top of that, another staff member came in and he was rude to him as well. The course was overall in decent shape, besides the several holes that were torn up by hogs. The greens were slow, which I was told were suppose to be like glass; FAST. The pace was pretty slow, even with two marshal's riding around.

I am a begining golfer; however I have visited many nice expencive courses, yet for less than a quater of the price it posses a close chalenge. With its beautiful lay and extreemly well kept fareways and greens it rivals many of the best courses in texas such as La Quintar and Aloamo hights. Plus it oly costs around $20 to play a pro tour worthy course.

This was a great day of golf, looking forwards to returning in July, Sept and Dec. We play golf all around the US and this is one of the best values in golf there is.
