StoneWerks Caffe & Bar, San Antonio

Our party of 14 went for my daughters b-day party. Waitress got 6 of 14 drink orders wrong. My daughters date leaned forward for waitress to bring out 1st order. Waitress dinged him in back of head with plate. When he felt his head, he had gravy on his hand. Waitress said "it wasn't me". Next order had rice instead of potatoes ordered. Plate was brought back with mashed potatoes covering a thin layer of rice that was not completely wiped off. My wife ordered the 17.00 mahi mahi plate. A 2x4 inch single piece of fish was brought out on a bed of dried out rice. The fish tasted old,slimey, and undercooked. This was replaced by a pannini sandwich which was cold and stiff. It looked like it had been sitting on a counter in the back waiting to be resold. My b-b-q pizza was dry and lacked any kind of distinct flavor. My daughters portabella mushroom salad had 2 little pieces of mushroom and 3 little pieces of dried out chicken. Our waitresses were slow, unnattentive, and basically snobby. They had an attitude like we're gonna get our gratuity anyway, so who cares about your service. After all this the manager comes out for what we thought was to settle up our bill with some sort of discount compensation. The 1st words out of her mouth were "so, this is the trouble table?". After some arguing things turned into a shouting match with the manager pretty much insulting most of us at the table saying " maybe we should have gone to a mexican restaurant since we were all mexicans". But she was just as mexican as we were. All of us at the table were well dressed, working class professionals. The whole time while this was going on inside I kept wishing I was outside on the comfortable looking patio watching the spurs game on the big screen while a cool rock band was playing. Needless to say, myself and my family will never go back to stone(needs a lot of ) werks again.
