Situated near the Galleria, this city landmark is a cool and refreshing oasis that attracts visitors and locals in droves. Designed by local architects in 1985, the amazing wall of water drops thousands of gallons 64 feet every minute. You can stop and linger and enjoy the moment, or marvel at the stunning creation from afar as you drive through the area. It is a soothing experience for businessmen and women in the area who need a quick break. If you find that you really love the spot, it is also a popular wedding venue.
The waterwall is a great experience. It's a beautiful structure, great to take pictures with. Many people visit this place for special occassions, so there's constantly a jubilant vibe eminating from here.
No only that, but the park around the Water Wall is so peaceful. Families gather for picnics, organizations have events here, or sometimes you see students reading in the sunlight.
I loved this site... my boyfriend (now fiancee) went last weekend and took pictures together. It was beautiful and looked like a good place to just kick back and feed the ducks. My question now is are ceremonies allowed in the field near by?
My husband and I began dating after he asked me out at the Waterwall, and after 3 years of dating, he proposed to me there. It is so big and spacious so no one is crowded, and you can bring your own food to eat so it is not expensive. It is truly romantic, but also a place to take pets to run around, kids to come and play, or just to take a nap under the trees. Great for a lazy afternoon!
I love this place. If you stand at the edge of the falls and turn around and look up you feel like it is coming right at you. This place at a really great feel to it. It is perfect for a romantic date. Only problem is is that they turn off the falls at some point but I am not sure what time they do it.
I enjoy going to the Waterwall. I've been with a boyfriend, and I've been with friends. It's a good place for either. Just to walk around the wall and have the water mist on your face or to find a bench or a comfortable spot on the grass and chat, it's a perfect place for relaxation and tranquility.
