Bayou Wildlife Park, Alvin

The park was just o.k. Priced too high. Should be $6.00 for kids and 10.00 for adults!!! You would probably get more visitors. I know you need the money to care for the animals, but the Houston Zoo is cheaper than you!

Ive been there twice before and the kids I nanny love it!! So we went there today to continue the summer tradition and the prices were outrageous!! when we pulled up, I told the lady that there were two children and one adult. She asked how old they were and I told her 10 and 12 and then she said an adult is 12 and over and my total would be 50 bucks!!!!!! no way jose!! Its a great place, but for being out in the heat and probably only going to be there a couple of hours, its totally not worth it!! The lady at the gate was kind of sharp also... If they brought the price down to somewhat reasonable, I would love to visit again! :)

the animals are beautiful..you staff adequate but your park needs landscapping..very dull looking...and your rates are to high for individual tickets..

I am now 18 years old and I was planning on visiting again. I read the review under mine about the little girls finger nail falling off. When I was little about 9 years ago, My finger nail fell off also. I did not now why. But I guess from the last review answered my wondering question after all this time. It grew back a month or two later. This is just a warning to don't touch the animal what so ever, unless you want your finger nails falling off. ( I fell like I was turning into a zombie when It fell off) Nice park but no touching

My 3-year-old had a great time at the Wildlife Park. It was a really neat experience! But a couple of weeks later, I learned that she had picked up a fingernail fungus after her nails actually started to fall off!!! The only animals that she really touched were the goats and deer, and now my little girl is on an antifungal for the next six months. I will definitely take her again, but please be cautious about which animals your little ones pet.

Watch the charges. They hit us up for (4) at $16 each after informing them we had two seniors and one child under two. I won't be back.

Great place to take your kids! I have been here numerous times because I keep bringing kids and people I know. It is a fun experience.

The tram ride was awesome! My granddaughter had the time of her life and so did I!! I actually went back to work andmade copies of the brochure and gave them out to everyone! Being around all the animals up close, to be able to pet them, feed them was the best! I recommed any one at any age to go! You will enjoy yourself!!

If you plan on make a trip out there just make sure to bring cash or your check book. They do not accept credit cards. But I still gave it 5 stars because once you've been there you will not want to go to a regular zoo ever again. My sons are 3 1/2 and 18 months they had a great time almost as much fun as I. The website doesn't do the experience any justice and is will worth the trip. The animals are friendly and so is the staff. This is a don't miss!!

This is a good thing to do with even very small children because they don't get tired from walking since you're on a tram. It was a good value for the money and the guide we had seemed to be sincerely interested in the animals and sharing her knowledge about them. Our grandson loved feeding the animals from the tram. It's an up close and personal experience. I highly recommend going there with your children or grandchildren.
