Daughter loved it!!
By ,
My daughter, who is 6 years old, absolutely loved the museum. She could not see enough or do enough. She can't wait to go back. Whenever we mention going to Houston for whatever reason, she chimes in with "Yeah, let's go back to the musuem!". She believes that there is nothing else to do in Houston. I am so grateful that she enjoyed her time there.

The best hands on experience for kids
By ,
The Children's Museum of Houston is the best hands on experience a kid can have. When you drive by the Children's Museum, you cannot miss it. It is a very big building with large children on the outside as well as being very colorful inside and outside. As you check in the kids are given stickers. Then you move onto the work tables which have paper and crayons and other projects for the kids to do. As you work your way through the museum, the kids discovery science, insects, and make giant bubbles. They play in a real child size grocery store. They learn about different cultures, see how a tv station works, and go outdoors to play on a caboose, bubbling brook and garden. There are always new exhibits and play stations. It is a wonderful place for kids to be kids and parents love it too. My kids always cannot wait until we come back.

Fabulous
By ,
This is an interactive museum, heavy on learning activities, not a displays in a glass case kind of place. There are zones set up for kids of all ages - babies to teens. Heavy on science for older kids, life skills and "general learning fun" for younger ones. It is clean and well staffed. It is worth the money, its fun for adults to play and learn with the kids. I highly recommend it.

Four hours wasn't enough time there. Very hands-on. Great way to beat the Houston heat.

Good place to take the KIDS
By ,
This is a really great place to kid for fun to enjoy and learn something new. The museum can be overwhelming when packed but there is so much to do with the kids like the indoor playground that has everything to learn from to the outdoor obstacle course. GREAT!

Great Hands-On Activities!
By ,
This museum is great for young children! They can explore in an environment made for little people. The best thing was that they could touch everything. My kids really enjoyed the hands-on experience.

Museum??
By ,
Calling this a museum is a bit of a joke. Shopping for plastic vegetables is hardly museum-worthy. Not a bad play-place for a young child, cleaner and quieter than Chucky Cheese.
