Old MacDonald's Farm, Humble

i love this place even when its crowded its easy to get around and plenty of attractions for everyone. my kids are 4 and 1 and they just loved it. i think the thing they liked most was the big sand pile. highly recommend to anyone with small children. the animals are well taken care of and dont stink or seem unhappy.

I live near old Macdonald's Farm, and when I was young, like elementary school age, I always loved this place. Plenty of stuff to do, great value. I'm 17 now, and I have to admit I still like the place. I have two young nephews (Ages 4 and 2 months) so I have a good excuse to keep going. :) I can say from first hand experience that the place is great fun for children, and adults. There are some minor downsides though. First is that since there are many animals, there are many animal droppings, so you may step in a little surprise. But that is no big deal. Also, in the hay barn, you can very easily get hay in your shoes, but that is also a minor annoyance as you can just take your shoe off and dump it all out.

Overall a good experience for families. My only issue is with "Cocoa" the deer that roams freely. She's sweet but a pest. We were constantly trying to shoo her away from our table and food. Not sanitary for guests and unheathly for the deer. She'll eat anything including things deer don't normally eat. Plus I can imagine some people/children thinking it would be funny to ride her. Sort of sad for that deer. They should take more precautions for her safety and well being. When I said something, the staff was very dismissive towards me and shrugged it off.

A few animals are wandering around loose and will follow you if you feed them. They have a good variety of animals and a playground if they need to run off a little extra energy.

I agree that the animals look like they are well taken care of. You get to feed and pet the animals, including the deer who walk free around the farm and is a lot of fun. The pool looks pretty clean and my son loves the train rides. Is great that you can get as many pony rides as you want. The price is just right for all the things you get to do, I'm going to be having my son's birthday party there and in fact it'll be a lot cheaper than trying to bring a petting zoo or pony rides to my own home. Overall, I think this place is GREAT!!

Admission is $7 for adults and kids 18 months and over (no kid prices) and 75 cents for food for the animals. The admission includes pony and train rides. The deer are sneaky... they got into our zipped diaper bag and ate a bag of food while we were on the train ride! There is a cement path, and all the cages have a cement area where the kids can pet the animals (without getting muddy) but the cages also have separate dirt areas for the animals to get away. It's very apparent that the animals are well cared-for.

Great place for the whole family. Take a picnic lunch and spend the day! The train ride is a bonus. The animals are really funny and the hay barn is a hit!

I want to have my son's party there every year now. This is a great place to have a party for family and friends together and experience petting the animals. It cost efficient and I've told everyone about it I love this place.

nice prices, friendly people. great place to take the kids. but dont go after a big rain. great place for summer birthdays too! i love how its open and you can pretty much keep your kid in sight where ever they wander off to!

Our day at the farm was wonderful, from the train ride, the animals to the pool and ice cream! Both of my sons (ages 5 and 2) loved it and beg to visit each time we visit Gramma and Grampa in Texas! Definitely worth your time and a great value too.
