Memorial City Mall, Houston

Some security guy make adults take their shoes off in kids play area. Don't want to get the new floor dirty? Are you kidding me? Really? No thanks, it's winter. Besides what a freaking hassle that is........

I currently rent out a space at Memorial City Mall & I must admit that it was the worse mistake I’ve ever made. Management walks around in a Daze & has NO IDEA what they’re doing. It takes them DAYS to return emails/calls & you literally have to talk into the office to get their attention. I’m honestly not sure how some of the people that manage the mall got their JOB b/c is shows that they have no idea what their doing. The restrooms are ALWAYS NASTY but the overall mall is kept clean. WARNING to anyone thinking about opening a business here.. DON’T DO IT. The mall is always packed but NO ONE IS SPENDING ANY MONEY. They just walk around and window shop.

This is a wonderful mall to shop in except for one store. The Aeropostale store. I originally came into this store to possibly buy more outfits for my summer wardrobe. Once in the store I could over hear an angry employee talking to another employee. At a closer look I saw that it was the store manager yelling at another employee in front of all the customers. To me this is completely inappropriate. I did not say anything and continued to do my shopping. I went to a rack near the situation. I thought that since I was closer she would calm down and ask me if I needed any help. Boy was I wrong. She gave me a dirty look and ask me "do you mind?..you do not need to be nosy." I was utterly offended and will NEVER come back to this store. For such a lovely mall I wonder why people like her ever became employed. I did not know who to talk to about my situation but I am hoping the right person reads this and deals with this woman so another unsuspecting customer does not have to go through the embarrassment and disrespect that I had.

I love this mall they have a little but of everything Im a young shopper age range 20-26 ...but this mall has it pretty much the main store; the atmoshphere is good; people are great; a huge food court;just a great mall sorta like a small galleria is what your looking at with afforable prices though !!

The mall itself is medium size but has nice stores and great ammenities and eats. Ofcourse our favorite was the giant play castle area for the little ones. It was so awesome! My son loved it and we ended up there almost every other day of our 2 week trip in Houston. It is actually gated in with a securuty guard watching the gate and keeping an eye out for kids playing too rough, etc. Thank goodness for that! Nowadays people just drop the kids off in the play areas and shop...not here, they won't allow it. So I was very impressed! They also have a two level carousel which was great too!

Everything is excellent! This mall has everiything you need without the problems of traffic or parking space. It is very convenient and secure. The whole family enjoys the shopping in this mall.

I love this mall compared to all of the other malls in the area. Memorial offers a diverse shopping atmosphere and the food is good too! It especially looks wonderful when it is Christmas time. I give this mall a 12 out of 10!

This is the second best mall in Houston. It is like the second Galleria, but without some of the high end stores. The mall for a while seemed to want to go upscale and added some nice stores, but now seems willing to take any store irregardless of how nice it is. I really miss having Lord & Taylor here. In its place I had hoped for a Nordstrom, Saks, Neimans, or another more unique store. Instead, we get yet another JCPenny (like the city needed another). So, we have a mall that has both upscale (Dillard's, Guess?, Abercrombie, Z-gallerie, etc) and discount stores (JCPenny, Target, Sears). It is a mall that tries to be for everyone. With Mervyn's out; I hope the mall doesn't blow it again...please add a Nordstrom, Saks, Neimans, Bloomingdales, Belk, Parisian, etc...a unique department store. This mall needs to do more to stand out and be unique, and should go more upscale.

this is a great place to go shopping i would love to go there every day and if i had kids that would be the purfect place to being them and be able to go shopping and not have to worry about them right there by my side so i would rate the memorial city mall #1.

after this mall was remodeled it has become a more exciting mall to shop in. it has a ice rink and tons of shops. they have anything you can think of to a target to any store to like.
