I loved six flags. It has been years since I've been there, and I forgot how much fun it could be.

Terrible
By ,
This was a terrible experience. We rode runnaway mountain and the ride broke just as we were about to get off. We were stuck locked in our harnesses for 45 minutes. I was about to have a panic attack due to the lack of air circulation in the tunnel and the seat harness pushing on my chest. My dad's legs were starting to cramp and the people behind us missed their shuttle. I'm pretty sure they could have let us out too because there was a walk way right next to where we stopped, but they kept us locked in our seats for liability purposes. The kids working the rides were obviously not trained in dealing with such situations, because they were making jokes and asking if we wanted to play hangman?? On top of that the park closed at 7 instead of 10, so we lost a great deal of ride time. We were not offered anything for being stuck on the ride only a "have a nice day." I spoke with the flash pass manager about our experience and asked for a refund, but he refused. He made up some lie about how he had closed the machines for the day and couldn't open them up to give me my money back. They gave me another flash pass, but I doubt if I will ever go back. What a freak show.

Disorganized Time-waster
By ,
We were visiting from San Antonio and I guess we're just a little spoiled being past season pass holders and visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio) over the years. The Arlington park could take some pointers from Fiesta Texas. This location was the most disorganized mess I've seen and I've been to tons of amusement parks all over the U.S. The season pass processing area had no rhyme or reason to the order of lines, people were coming in from all directions cutting in front of people waiting in line for over an hour. Very disappointing. The ride lines were not too long and moved fast, that was a plus. We didn't have time for any shows since we waited so long in the processing line. I don't recommend visiting this Six Flags, save your $$ for another Six Flags location!

Great fun
By ,
I have been a season ticket holder for several years and really enjoy the park. The Giant is awesome and the Titan is also well worth your time. I go on off times and lines are usually not a problem. Except for the newest roller coasters I can usually get on in less than 15 minutes. I have read other reviews and need to point out all of this type of amusement park has long lines on the popular rides, high food prices, and parking fees. Go to almost any event and you will pay for parking.

Meal Deals & Etc.
By ,
The restaurants don't advertise hours and my neice couldn't use the meal voucher. It was 9:00 PM and they were closed. Guest Relations couldn't have cared less. The response was "It's non-refundable". OK, I get that but advertise the hours on your website. The guest relations rep, Debbie, said it could be used until January of 2012. I'm not going and my neice came for vacation and won't be back for at least a couple of years. Dirty dogs. It'd be a nice place for a family amusement park if it was run like one. Other than that, my neice said it was filthy, the lines were too long and drinks were higher than Jerry Jones charges at the Cowboys stadium and they ran out of ice everywhere. That's pretty high dollar not to mention it's SUMMER and it's HOT. No ice??? Unreal. This place does not entice families to come back. As usual, it's greed infested. Nice place not to take a family on vacation!

why six flags could be better
By ,
Well me and my daughter went there yesterday and i have been going for years but i noticed some thing yesterday the prices for stuff like food and drinks are just a bit nuts i mean to say it was a 104 yesterday and water for both of us was 7 dollars thats 3.50 a bottle I think that they could wor on inproveing the prices and maybe also update the park too maybe take out the shockwave and put something else there some new paint and more atention to the guests Im not saying that we had a bad time but come on the are so happy with there 50 years being open but show that they real do care what we think

Needs alot of repair and updating.
By ,
I'm a long time resident and have been vising this place since the mid 70's when I was a child. Through the years I think that they have been good about caring for the place but for the past few years the place is literally falling apart. The water rides are just nasty and I highly suggest keeping your mouth shut while riding them. Most of the wood in the park is warped and rotten. I nice thick layer of dust on the very outdated Yosmite Sam ride is gross. I mean do most kids these days even know these characters? Don't think so. Looney Toonland needs to go and something more current in it's place. They are closed for several months out of the year and have plenty of time to get a few buckets of paint and do some touch ups. Also they are charging 15 for parking ( the poor lot is in the same sad condition as the park) and 57 for a daily adult admission and the food and drinks are out of this world. I think with that said we should expect more of them. A sad thumbs down from me.

Lines too long as usual!!
By ,
As usual lines too long! They are out for money and they don't care how long you have to stand in the Texas heat!! They should always open both entries into the rides but they don't cause they don't want to pay for more help. I wonb't go back. My family will find something better to do!!

One star- don't waste your time or money!
By ,
Wait in line for 2hrs or get a flash pass to stand for only 1hour. Big thrill Rides were closed, entrances on map hard to find, spend all day there to ride 4 rides- never again. They need a better system to handle the crowd!
