Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington

This is a great place to stay if you like high thrilling rides and loopy loop roller coasters. Not much for the kids but they still have a great time. The prices were horrible - it is 3.50 for a water bottle. Also, some 20 people have died in the park. If you do go make sure you tell your kids not to go on "Superman" because a young boy has just died on it. And also if you have common sense you will never go on "Kinda Kai" because 12 people have died on it. It is when it goes strigaht up and does a loop at 34432 ft and comes back down. Overall I guess it was pretty great!

Lines for rides were 60 - 90 min. No drinking fountains anywhere. Machines would not take new $5 bill. Had to wait in line 40 min to buy 4 drinks for $17, and they were out of Coke. Employees were rude and not knowledgeable on advertised specials or discounts. My son stepped in gum a few feet from 3 sweepers talking together. Park entry seems reasonable but everything inside the park is waaaay over priced. I've been to tons of amusement parks and this is the very worst one ever!!!

Sixflags over texas is fun but it is no disney

It's the first full week of August and they cut the hours to 7 hrs per day. Not to mention 3 of the MAJOR rides are shut down for decorating until Oct. Their brochures in all hotels showed summertime hours until mid Aug. Add to all of this they shut down all rides for 3 hours because there "was lightning within a 20 mile radius" and what you get is a family's money and vacation wasted and larger than normal profits for Six Flags for that day. Tickets were same price so how much $ did Six Flags save by only running 3/4 of the rides for only 4 hours that day?

we had the best time ever.. the lines was not long we went on a sunday. but we got to all the rides ..we can not wait to go back. just make sure you get there when the open so yall will have enough time to doo all the thing .. there is alot

I love the rides and entertainment. I bought a season pass and I will return over and over again to enjoy the great place all year long.

I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO MADE ALL THE SHOWS BUT COULD NOT FIND THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NUMBERED ON THE MAP. WE COULD NOT GIVE OUR GKIDS DIRECTIONS TO WHERE WE WERE BECAUSE OF IT AND THE FLAG AREAS AND ENTRANCES ARE NOT MARKED GOOD. WE FOUND THIS TO BE A BIG PROBLEM IN TRYING TO FIND THE SHOWS. WHY DID YOU QUITE PUTTING NUMBERS ON THE MAP FOR SHOW HOUSE, LIKE YOU USE TO SEVERAL YEARS AGO. WE WERE NOT HAPPY VISITORS. WE DID GET TO SEE "THE HOW Cirque Dreams Coobrila - a Cirque de Soleil style show" IT WAS REALLY GREAT.

Well as the Headline states..... Overpriced meals..... You Must have a Refillable Cup.... Also you have to Figure out which stands offer the Discount and which ones do not..... Johnny Rocket's food was not that great.... Shows where great.... Rides wherere Great Flass Pass would be the same if it's a couple of people then it's great overpriced but worth it

This has been a family favorite for many years. I have visited this park for about 35 years and running. It features a lot of neat rides. It is currently owned by the Washington Red Skins organization. Tom Cruise and Katie have visited other park sites because he is friend of Red Skins owner. Six Flags has two wooden rollercoasters and a half-dozen steel models. One of the oldest rides is the Texas Shootout. It still takes your breath away to this day. They are currently running Spook the Park and have it decorated accordingly. The food is fine and restrooms are ok. There is plenty of parking and a gas station on site. This is a family friendly park as they have a partnership with Warner Brothers Licensing. There are plenty of hotels to check out nearby. If you get hot, there is a Wet N Wild just across the highway.
