The stretch of Greenville Avenue from Ross Avenue to Mockingbird Lane comes alive each night when locals and visitors flock to the myriad of unique shops, restaurants and clubs. Located just northeast of Downtown Dallas, the district is divided into three parts- Upper, Lower, and Lowest Greenville. While Upper Greenville is best known for its cosmopolitan services, Lower Greenville offers an assortment of one-of-a-kind shops and outdoor dining speckled along an historic 1920s neighborhood. Lowest Greenville's free-spirited atmosphere is obvious in the mix of antique shops, homey pubs and ethnic restaurants. Credit card acceptance varies from store to store. Hours vary by business, restaurants are open at night, bars and clubs close at 2a.
I have lived in Dallas 4 quite a while.Just to realize that Greenville Avenue is one of the coolest spot in the city.A place u can go to 24/7,especially over the weekends.Lots of locations, unique antiques, shops, outdoor patios, name it all.A zone with sparks of excitment, people, fun etc. With CLASS.
I loved it so much I moved there..It has the best people anywhere in Dallas. You can dress anyway you want and noone will look at you like you dont belong. If you have not gone u must go at least once...
Miles and miles of unique bars and entertainment. There is not much parking and the streets are crowded but it's one of the best places to come for a night out. Small, large, loud, quite, casual, formal, all kinds of different places. Come during the day to catch lunch and excellent shopping. Hidden in the residential area.
Greenville Ave offers a wide variety of bars and restaurants. If you are visiting from out of town or new to Dallas, and looking for something to do, you should go there. It features live music bars and regular bars.
There are a lot of young people and professionals that frequent the area. The area is clean, well maintained and safe.
The biggest problem with Greenville Avenue is finding a place to park. If you drive, plan on doing some walking unless you get there early or get lucky and actually find an open space.
Greenville Avenue is much cleaner and safer than Deep Ellum. The West End doesn't compare to the nightlife on Greenville.
My picks would be Muddy Waters for live music and The Dubliner for drinks.
it was awesome..great people and food along with some fantastic music, it was awesome..great people and food along with some fantastic music, it was awesome..great people and food along with some fantastic music
