Six Flags Over Texas - Spring Season
It must be the end of Winter once again when Six Flags Over Texas kicks off a new season. There's a jam-packed weekend of fun for the whole family that starts the season right. No matter what else you have planned in the Big D, leave your calendar open to spend some time at Six Flags Over Texas. Check the website or call for ticket prices and event timings.
We went to Six Flags Over Texas in April 2007. We are in our 40's, so we were interested in seeing some shows and eating some good food. There were ZERO shows in April and the food was not good. They only have "fast food" type restaurants and one Chinese restaurant that was not good. If you are into the rides, this would probably be a good place to visit, but not for older people who are not into rides. My husband waiting an hour to ride one rollercoaster. Wouldn't recommend.
Six Glags over TX us great! I love heights and speed and the roller coasters were right on point.. especially the Titan and Batman. Everytime i go Mr. Freeze is shut down 4 repairs. The Texas Giant is fun, but painful lol. It's safe despite it's appearance (a wooden coaster). It's fast and it' lasts a while so u can enjoy it longer. I was there the weekend Superman opened. It was alotta fun. The whole park is fun. I got off every ride w/ pain in my side..from laughing so hard lol. IUf u go, try 2 catch a good concert, ride the coasters, and have fun. But just a warning, the food's kinda expensive.
