Best described as interactive theater, Pocket Sandwich Theater is a great entertainment venue. Enjoy a sandwich or salad while experiencing parodies of a popular play or locally written comedies. Patrons shout "boo-hiss" at the villain and "hip hip hooray" to the heroine. Newcomers might think the popcorn is a snack, but regulars know that it's used to pelt the "bad-guys" on stage. This unique adventure is fun for all ages. You will leave with your sides aching from laughing out loud. Dinner selections include sandwiches, salads and a few basic appetizers. The bar offers wine and mixed drinks along with beer by the glass or pitcher. Make reservations at the beginning of the week, as seats are hard to come by.

Lots of fun!
By Traci, 01/25/08
I had a great time at the theater. It was lots of fun. A great place to go as a couple or just with a few friends. We saw Attack of the Killer Mutant Leeches. A play that encourages audience articipation. We had a great time tossing popcorn at the stage and at each other. Cheap eats and great entertainment. What can be better than that?

Great entertainment, great price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/07
One of the most affordable places to have dinner and entertainment. Unlike the regional theatres and "professional" theatres in the area, the PST recognizes that theatre should be entertaining and fun. Over the past 20 years that I have been in Dallas, the PST has entertained me through laughter and tears. Their productions are well done considering that they survive only on the monies that they raise from ticket sales and food sales. I am constantly amazed at the quality of actors that have been and continue to be found on stage at the PST. Bravo to this institution and the fun they bring to their patrons. While I do have a fond appreciation for the PST's begining years (the first 10) they continually put on a good show. I have not been able to attend the past few years, however I do keep abreast (Joe, I knew YOU would like that) of thier shows, talents and staff.

Fun for family, friends, or a couple
By Jennifer, 05/24/07
I have been to the Pocket Sandwhich Theater many times. I'm never been let down. The plays are silly but that is the fun of it. This theater is fun no matter what age you are. I have been with all my friends in our twenties and with my mom and little brother. Everyone enjoys it. You can get cheap pitchers of beer if you want and the food isnt bad. I think the plays are a bit funnier than some of the improv's I've seen however.

One of my more memorable evenings
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/06
My granddaughter has tried her hand at acting. She was involved long enough, before she became too involved in sports, to become aquainted with a few actors who also perform at the Pocket Theater. When they invited us to a performance at the Pocket Sandwich Theater I was amazed at the comaraderie and talents of all the actors, workers and guests. This is a great place to spend an evening of fun. I enjoyed the food also. It was like an extra bonus. I am so excited to find out I will be able to go back during the holidays this year to see Ebenezer Scrooge. I have invited some of my soccer friends to come with me this time. Get the popcorn ready!

This was fun!
By Michelle, 04/17/06
I thoroughly enjoyed my evening, we started off not realizing that this was going to be a live comedy play, not just stand up. It was acted out really well, funny, intriguing, and something that I will definitely do again sometime!
