The giant hamburgers may seem like a bargain at any price, but when coupled with some of the liveliest blues in town, they're a steal. There is not much to say about decor—the owners simply utilize heavy-beat blues to create a casual atmosphere. Live music is played nightly Tuesday through Saturday, featuring some of Dallas' best-known blues bands. The burgers range from quarter- to half-pound with onion rings or fries alongside. The good blues pre-requisite, a full bar, is on hand.

Culture Shock

If you're looking for a sterile environment and heart-healty cooking, this is not the place for you. For a good, greasy burger and a taste of reality, pull off Harry Hines just south of LBJ. There may be missing teeth from your order taker, but who are we to judge? Remember, everything in moderation. One of these every six months or so ought to do it. Seriously, some guys walked behind me, and I turned my chair so I could see them out of the corner of my eye. This place is for the adventuresome, not the squeamish.

Staple

The place is real. However, some folks should stick with Chachki's and Flinger's. (For some reason this site requires 25 words - like brevity is ineffective, so here's some extra ones.)

Nasty and dirty.

The name of Hole in the Wall is fitting for this place. It is disguisting, and wish that the health department would shut this place down. Make sure you tetnous shot up to date! Ladies in the back are ghetto, and smoking cigarettes in plain site over the hamburgers on the grill. Im a smoker, but not over freaking food! Jeeez!

Really enjoyed listening to Kenny Fuller, awesome for his age and better than the grown ups! :) Hope to see him in the future playing more gigs...:)
YoYo, well, that woman just a major kicker...she was a blast and liked her energy...:) I talked with her a moment before we left and she gave me her mp3 site info...went there and she's not on there anymore it reads...would like to hear more of her tunes and email her to get on list of where she will be in the future...anyway could you help me here? Would be much appreciated...:)

Did I lie?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/04
What can I say. I told her there would'n't be any cars there, well maybe 4 or 5 in the parking lot.
There were THREE, and 16 bikes (motorcycle type bikes) and 60 or 65 pickup trucks AND SOME OF THE BEST BLUES I'VE HEARD IN A LLLONG TIME!
