Fabulous music venue

The Meyerson Symphony hall is a stunning, IM Pei designed building with world-class acoustics. The Dallas Symphony is an excellent orchestra that looks to improve further when the new music director - Jaap Van Zweden - takes over full time in 2008-09. (His recent performances of Beethoven Symphonies 5-8 received well-deserved raves and created a high level of excitement for the coming season.)
The Meyerson is located in the middle of the Dallas Arts District which is in the midst of a major building effort that will see 4 buildings designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects (including the Meyerson) along a four-block space.
