Magic Time Machine (The)
This steakhouse features a wait staff dressed up as storybook, cartoon, entertainment and historical characters to entertain and serve you. The character-driven theme of this restaurant creates a very colorful eating atmosphere. You may find yourself ordering your meal from an Elvis impersonator, Hercules, Tinker Bell or Henry VIII, among other characters. Enjoy a good meal while you watch the uniquely dressed wait staff parade by your table. All the cuts of beefsteaks are excellent, whether you prefer prime rib, steak or other cuts. Order one of the chicken or seafood dinners if you have sworn off red meat. Burgers and salads are added to the lunch menu.
The first two times we went we had a blast. The people were amazing, all of the characters came by to visit us and the food was good.
Since then I've been back three times bringing new people to share the experiance with and it's been horable. The entertainers have rarely stopped by to vist and the food has been medoaker at best.
went for a birthday party. Server was the only bright spot of the night. The food was one appetizer two meals one dessert and one drink-Not worth the $75 price tag attached. It was disgusting, the ribs were overcooked, the steak had NO flavor and I will not be back
I celebrated my birthday there with a bunch of friends and family. Everyone had a great time! We dined inside a renavated "short bus" and had Captain Jack Sparrow wait on us. It was a blast! We're still talking about it!
I liked all the characters, we got Woody. We were there for my daughter's 9th bday. She had a blast as well as my other daughter. Superman was playful, the magic guy was good. It was our first time there. Salad car was good, don't ask where the bathroom is lol...
I loved the salad bar, the potion drinks, the green soup (it's minestrone), and absolutely loved the cheese crackers! If you visit the restaurant and have to go to the bathroom DON'T ASK!!!! I always just wander around until I find it. I haven't been in years now, but I will get my husband to take me, he's never been. The characters are very realistic for young children and you can send them off to get autographs. Friendly staff and lovely decorations. Some booths are like a little hut and are very cozy!
