This market offers multicultural ethnic apparel and groceries. Get out your worldly cookbooks and you will find the ingredients in this market. It carries Halal/Kosher meat including goat, lamb, beef and chicken. You may purchase calling cards for India, Pakistan, Africa, Asia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Greece and the Middle East. The store boasts about its low prices and the largest selection of basmati rice. Located in the North Park Center next to Dollar General.

I bought lamb there and my mistake was not looking at what they gave me. All I got were flat, bony pieces from the ribs. I am never going back there and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I like this place because it close with mosque.They employee also bestow with customers and easy to communicate.Me and friends always came here every years and some time twice a year.

the meat is fresh.i think the brain is slightly overpriced..they hiked the prices recently...but i think since its good,the price can be overlooked..but please DO NOT eat the cooked food displayed on the cashier's table..it is over priced..and simply not worth it..

worth the visit

If you want fresh market meat, you must visit this market. A selection of spices from mild to xxtra SPICEY. I found it all in this small market. The yogart is to die for.(I think it's an Arabic name on the yogart container) This family market adds flavor to Austin!!

Store is clean and organized. Many different variety of foreign items. If you don't have it, your sure to find it. Prices are compatible to other specialty stores. (If not better) Your the best I have found in Austin. How fortunate we are to have an outstanding store like World Food!!!!
