Anna's Toy Depot, Austin

I had to write a review here because I just happened upon the website and noticed there was a negative review for one of my favorite local shops. Not only do I love to support local businesses, I am especially protective of the local businesses run by saavy, hardworking moms like Anna. Her store is unlike any other resale toy store. Anna's Toy Depot is an Austin original in every sense... mom has a novel idea to open a business recycling toys before recycling was a popular idea...it was a sensible idea then and it is a sensible idea now ! She runs a fabulous little shop in 78704. If you need toys and are in the neighborhood, check her out! I am sure you will agree she offers a great selection of toys and they are in EXCELLENT condition! I have been shopping with Anna since 2002 when my first son was born and my baby girl has just turned 4. I have been looking for a little kitchen for my baby and I just bought an adorable, sturdy, almost new kitchen (wooden stove, oven and adjascent sink) from Anna. My little girl is going to love making me some dinner and preparing some tea and cookies and I love that her dream kitchen cost me less than $20.
