don't go early (or order ribs)
place looked nice (while very rustic), but what killed me was the staff. we arrived early in the afternoon and the staff looked like it was new years the previous evening and they DIDN'T have to work the next day. they couldn't be bothered with customer service and were literally dirty. a white haired older "gentleman" walked in the place in uniform scracthing himself like there were fleas over his right ear. i asked for a "triple" with brisket, spare ribs, and pork loin. all were generously seasoned, BUT those are all the positives. only the brisket was worth eating, and all were way dry (maybe over cooked). i would be very shocked if any of my three main items were cooked the same day.
bottom line, big let down.
if you're looking for a wild college party bar, then put on that long horns garb an get down there. if it's juicy tender cuts of meat seasoned to perfection (or a staff that doesn't appear to be out of a 1/2 way house) you're out for, then you'd better move along
