Two Rivers Mansion, Nashville

This is a lovely historic home in the heart of Nashville. As all historic homes, she needs rennovations and is undergoing some in 2011 thanks to Friends of Two Rivers and The Stones River Woman's Club. The rooms are beautiful and with new bedroom furniture, visitors get a glimpse of a bygone era.

Historic and lovely. I attended the annual holiday week-end sponsored by Stones River Woman's Club. Touring the mansion while listening to dulcimer music was a true treat. The club supports the rennovations of this graceful lady thru their fund raiser each December. Each year the Grand Old Dulcimer Club provides musical background both days to the delight of everyone attending. A great celebration of history and music. This delightful mansion plays host each year to many activities and weddings including Grand Old Dulcimer Day each May on the grounds.

the metro parks are just lettle this grand lady fall apart. needs to restore it and set it up for tours like the other grand mansions are getting. the park and grounds a so nice and woulod be again if they would put a little effort into it.
