Before you tour the Music City, you need a game plan. That's why this handy information center inside the Nashville Arena should be your first stop. The friendly, knowledgeable staff will help you plan activities in the city and provide you with maps to help you find your way around. Unsure about a certain tourist attraction or restaurant? This facility offers brochures and pamphlets on nearly every point of interest in the metro area, and the staff will be happy to make a dining recommendation.

Good advice and friendly people

I come to Nashville for a conference. I took a cab from the hotel I am staying to Downtown Nashville yesterday (April 1, 2009). Luckily, the driver dropped me on the 2nd Ave. and Broadway. I walked on Broadway and saw this visitor center on the 5th and Broadway. I think. A woman working there was so nice. She gave me many useful advice and suggestions. She even held and took a picture of me with a guitar inside the visitor center. Thank you very much. If you come to Nashville, I would suggest to stop by this visitor center. An asian guy.

Begin Nashville here!

We started our Nashville vacation at the Visitor Center. I'm glad we did, the man was so nice and helpful. He helped me plan out the best schedule for a few days of touring the city along with giving me prices and suggestions on where to park and best hours to go to sites. No cost, just a 10 minute stop here will help your visit a lot.
