Death Valley Haunted Woods, Hendersonville

no not any good,place falling apart better place is bloody aceres on big station camp blvd in gallatin exit 12 off bypass north of hendersonville....death valley not worth the money..it is going to be last year for it and that is good

( May be spoilers, i'll try my best not to include them)I went last year with a group of friends, this being my first haunted house. It was half scary and half just really funny. I honestly didnt think the actual actors were scary( their outfits were horrible, and looked like they didnt try very hard.) it was just when they popped out at you(which happened a lot) that really got you. There are many turns and what not. Also, for some reason they thought it would be ok to add a random step in pitch black with no warning, so watch out for that. Because I did not see it and I tripped and the clown popped out and accidentally pushed my friends so they all toppled on top of me. But we came out laughing instead of screaming. Honestly for I think it was $25, was not worth it, we were literally yelling at the actors we wanted our money back because it was not scary.

I liked that it took us an hour to get thru it. My teens had a blast.they held on for dear life to me,and may I add,they are a foot taller than me.the long maze was great.it was pure darkness. Wear long sleeves and tennis shoes.the ground it very uneven so watch your step.the scariest of characters would stop after your fright and direct you on where to go if you can't follow the path,it can be tricky.overall it was a good scare,as with all some parts are predictable,but your in a haunted house,so you should expect to be scared.the only dislike for me is that I expected more woods....and there really wasn't much of that.your outdoors in parts,but not really woods like I expected,but still had a great time,so I felt I enjoyed it and my teens did to.so great fun and time was had by all!

We had seen cars pile in here, so we finally figured we would give it a shot. The actors were horrible, the masks were lowest quality, and the manage uncaring. The supposive scares were very predictable, they came way to close to you. During most of it you have to hold the hand rails for support because of the uneven ground, at one point my husband was holding the rail and one of the actors accidently slammed his weapon on to my husbands finger, it hurt him pretty good, but accidents happen. We finished the woods and sought out the manager to tell him he may want to tell his actors to be more careful, we were nice, never requested our money back, but he still seemed cold. Like I said if your going there for a scare don't bother. However the dark mazes were a hoot, best mazes ever, like 30 of us spent a lot of time trying to get out, some lit of cells and still couldn't find there way. Obviously at one point we felt around enough and one of the openings led to a way out. There were 2 mazes in it. Mostly if your bored, have nothing else to do, need to kill some time, then I would go, otherwise don't bother. It is long, some of it dangerous, just because of the darn and uneven grounds, not scary at all, my husband had to pop us somewhere to give someone in our group a scare, but he got the loudest scream out of our group of 9, which was sad.

I'm usually not scared of haunted houses but in a couple of place I was really scared the people their are great and very nice :). It even took me a good hour to get out of there which most haunted houses are quicker than that so I was glad it lasted awhile. I have no dislikes :)

Death Valley Haunted Woods is no worse than any other haunted house. I like that it is outside and inside. Maze is cool. I like that the people in costumes are well hidden but I don't get scared in haunted houses so I have not been to one that has blown my socks off. Does anyone have any suggestions? Death Row is completely lame. I laughed through the whole entire thing. Everytime someone jumped out, I lost it and had to laugh.

It was TERRIBLE!!! There we're only like 3 people in there to scare u...and we we're not scared. Costumes we're not good. All it amounted to was a very long dark maze wuth very loud music....not at all scary. I do not recommend this..if u r looking for a scary place..Death Row is awesome!!! And cheaper!!!

The haunted woods last year was kind of boring, like most haunted houses it had a long maze and a few interesting scenes other then that it was nothing important. Hopefully 2007 will be better then before!

this place gives you sooooo much thrill watch out around the corner they're waiting!!Friends are great to bring here but make sure they won't chicken out!! Go before halloween cause that's when it ends

i liked the way the staff beat the meatle stakes against the sheet meatle. the music that they played at the end added to the mayhem. the best part was the texas chainsaw massascar. be sure to mess with the clowns and watch out for michale myers.
