Wave Country, Nashville

This is a great place that gets a bad rap. We were there on Memorial Day when the large group of kids tried to come through the front gates without paying and then decided to jump the fence when staff closed the gates. The news crews totally missed on reporting what happened that day. There were no fights. The place was crowded but my wife and I and our two kids still enjoyed ourselves. We go twice a week during the week. The kids love it and the price is a great value. They have free parking, they allow you to bring in your own food and drink, their floats are free and they offer day passes so if you want to leave and come back later in the day you can. We are a family of four and can go to Wave Country and bring our own food and spend in total $44 for the day. We went to Nashville Shores last year and spent over $200. One suggestion to those going to Wave Country. Go during the week. It is less crowded and the majority of those who are there are families having fun. Weekends tend to be more teenagers who can be very disrespectful to the other users of the park.

Bad crowd. Not family friendly. You will regret going.

All they have is those big waterslides... but the value is great... so that is the only good thing... oh the little waterslides there arent fun and idk why u people think u can spend the whole day... The slides also scrape u

This park is perfect for summer fun. It is cheap and caters to both young and old and all those in between. They have lockers to hold your stuff, free floats and picnic tables. The lifeguards are friendly and plentiful! You are allowed to take coolers in (no glass), or leave and come back. Smoking is only allowed in one area. The restrooms were clean and they had nice changing rooms. I can not wait to take my children back! We are planning another trip in 2 weeks. They also offer military discounts. It is a great place and well worth the money.

It is small but it has cool slides and attractions. The wave pool has some sweet waves

The lifeguards are very rude. Its over priced considering there's only 4 or 5 slides. The slides cut you as you go down and ruin your bathing suits. You have to worry about getting your things stolen because there's nowhere to put your items.

I love to go here with my friends, but it can get VERY crowded because the price is so good... but its still a fun getaway!

It was so much fun!!The speed slides were a lot of fun and so was the wave pool.The lifegaurds were very experinced and I felt safe.This was worth the drive!!!

Great for the family. Go every summer! Fun atmosphere and reasonable prices help. Bring a picnic and make a day of it.

I love Wave Country! You cant beat the value for the fun you get. Very family priced. BUT the information listed here is very, very old!! Take note: the hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri until Metro Schools are out, then it will be weekends only. So call when its close to make sure. Labor Day weekend is the last days open for the season. AND the cost is $8 for 13 years and older, $7 for 12 and younger- 4 and under are free! PARKING is always free. Season passes are availale! A great time, and a great price!
