Jensen's Shoes store specializes in orthotic and orthopedic shoes. The friendly staff will help you find the correct shoe size, to provide your feet maximum comfort. On offer are a wide range of styles in tune with modern fashion trends. Designer brands are fitted with special orthotic devices and custom-fitted for your feet. The result is great looking shoes that will allow your feet to 'breathe' and make you feel better.
Because I have unusually sized feet, I have been going to Jensen's for years. They are very professional and do a very good job with fitting your feet properly. They are also fantastic at orthotics - I am always more comfortble in their custom-fit orthotics than others bought from stores such as The Good Feet Store. The shoes tend to be expensive but last forever. My only complaint is that I wish they had a better selection of shoes for younger adults. I always feel like the majority of dress shoes are geared to the 50-and-over crowd.
I am a runner and my husband thought a good idea to get inserts made for my running shoes. oh my gosh, they were $200 plus so heavy I could maybe run half a mile and my calves were killing me. The weight of the inserts was unreal and my back hurt for the first time in my life and I am 61. My saleman is obviously not a runner and doesn't know what I do in my training I am sure. As soon as I stopped wearing them, my back is normal and so are my calves. There is no getting used to those inserts, they are just all wrong and not for runners. The inserts weighed almost as much as my shoes! Hope this helps someone and not buy Jensen's inserts. Sure other things are fine in this store but I won't know.
DO NOT patronize this establishment. The owner just got in my face and screamed at me when I began to cry because he refused to give me a refund for a pair of shoes that I paid over $100 for. Said the shoes I bought were sale shoes. But I was never shown the price on the box or told that the shoes were a sale item.
I purchased three pairs of shoes here, two of which I found myself on the clearance shelves, one of which was "professionally fitted" by a staff member. I thought that sale shoes referred to this clearance area, not shoes brought out of the back by a staff member. It was never indicated to me that this was a sale shoe. And there were no prices on any of the "stock" shoes on display in the store. The only way to get a price was to ask the salesperson. The person who fitted me put me in a triple A narrow that squeezed my bunion, so I returned it. I was then fitted for a pair that were so big they kept slipping off my feet when I tried to walk in them naturally. Her suggestion if they didn't work out was to bring them back and she could put some padding in the back. I'm sorry, but if the shoe "fits" is all of that really necessary?
With the customer service I received, I cannot fathom how this man has stayed in business for this long. All I can say is if you make a purchase here, don't entertain any notions about asking for a refund. Not unless you'd like to be screamed at, demeaned and humiliated.
