Blackstone Restaurant & Brewery

The burger I had was fantastic! Cooked just right and huge for the price. I couldn't even finish it all. They're also open until 10pm on Sundays which is how we ended up there to begin with..everywhere else was closed. I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband really enjoyed his Nut Brown Ale and made many yummy noises over his ribeye. It didn't need any A-1 or sauce of any kind..and that's the mark of a good steak. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in Nashville!

The beer at Blackstone is good; I always have a sixer of Nut Brown in the fridge to share with out of town visitors. The atmosphere inside is a bit yuppy for my tastes, perhaps a little too "starbucky". But this is perhaps to the liking of the local Vanderbilt Crowd wanting to feel sophisticated as they sip their first non-miller lite. Were it not for the food, I probably would never darken the door again because I can buy the bottles at my local grocer. But you must check out the bathrooms while you are there. They are the nicest I have seen for this type of establishment. The staff is friendly and fairly knowledgable about the different choices.

The food was good and the beer was excellent. You can also buy a six pack of their most popular beers, Chaser Pale and Nut Brown, in most Nashville area stores.

The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. Much better than chain meal and priced as good/better. Overall, great value.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is better than Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday's, Chili's, ...etc. and it's cheaper. The beer selection is also very good, and it's not overpriced. The Belgium Trippel is terrific, but it's seasonal.
