By Devon Collins, 7/19/11
I went with my family on a Thursday I believe and we waited for our seat for 3 hours!! The fried chicken i had was heavenly but i had to get some snacks from the gas station next door to keep myself from gnawing my arm off

A Very Special Place - Unique and Fun
By MatthewS, 6/21/11
I live in Nashville, and whenever someone is visiting from out of town, if we can, we take them to the Loveless. The breakfast is legendary and the atmosphere is so much fun. The shops around the restaurant are fun to visit, and the Loveless is situated at the northern terminus of The Natchez Trace Parkway, and I highly recommend a short drive down the Parkway after your meal --- it is very scenic and serene; one lane each way and no trucks allowed.

Southern Hospitality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/29/09
They have stayed true to southern roots! We went around 11 on a sunday morning and it was an hour and half wait. All though we didnt want to wait that long, it was worth it! It's litteraly an old house, thats why the wait was so long, but it made the experience that much more enjoyable and authintic!! I had the pork chops with peach preserves which I loved! They were smoked chops, so you get the smokey flavor with the sweet and absolutley delicous peach preserves. The peach was my favorite, but you also get to try the blackberry and strawberry. I put those on the biscuts you get with the meal. I, also, enjoyed the gift shops. I purchased smoked bacon (killer!) ,country ham, and a bag of popcorn called Piggy Popcorn. it's popcorn cooked with bacon and maple. Different, yet, enjoyable. Also, had to try the Tennessee Tea Cakes. I've heard about them on food network and had to try! They were, aslo, good. Can't describe them though. Not a cake, but similar, very sugary and with a hint of molassas. I will come here again whenever I can, even with a long wait! I'm a country girl at heart and I felt right at home!!

The Genuine Article
By Mike, 8/6/05
The Loveless has been the real deal for Southern cooking (especially breakfast) since I was a kid growing up in Nashville. Still is. Period. If you want to know how real Southern biscuits taste, if you want real country ham, grits and redeye gravy go to the Loveless. Come hungry. Don't think about the fat. Just eat.
