Memphis Zoo and Aquarium, Memphis

I love the Memphis Zoo for one reason: the giant pandas. All of their exhibits are very nice and the animals seem to be quite active. I found the admission price, along with the conservation fee for the panda timed ticket to be very reasonable (comparing it to the Brookfield Zoo near Chicago).

The Pandas and the Komodo Dragons are my favorites! They feed the python on week-ends. That is very exciting. The aviary is a must see!The kids also like going!

I believe that Memphis has one of the best zoos in this area of the country. With the addition of the pandas a couple of years ago, and all the renovations that have taken place there are not many kids and adults that would not love a trip to the zoo. The only thing about the zoo is you had better be ready to drop over $40 for a family of 4 just to get in the door. And no that doesnt include parking which will cost you another $3. I love the zoo, but at $45 per visit for my family, lets just say that I dont go that often. Sad.

The Memphis Zoo is one of the best around. As a result of a major remodeling a few years back which added viewing windows, a person can now stand within inches of big cats and other exotic animals and watch them in an area more closely resembling their natural habitats. Also, the dolphin show is always lots of fun!

I like all of the zoo. The new lion country and monkey enclosures are fantastic. Also, the Prairie Dogs are just so cute. You could stand and watch them for hours. The only thing I don't like is where the hippos are they really need to update that exhibit. But overall I would go back and have several times.

A great place to take kids or a date who loves animals. This zoo rivals the ones you will find in larger cities like New York or Los Angeles. A great assortment of animal exhibits. All for a very good price. A great way to spend an afternoon. For those who are in the dating game and you are dating a woman with children, this should be #1 dating idea.

I love all of the animals at the zoo and the natural habitats that have been created for them. However, I was most displeased at the high parking prices on top of the park admission.

The Memphis Zoo is one of the few places that you can come to see Pandas live and in person. It is really a great treat to get to see these animals.
