Belz Museum and Gallery, Memphis

I loved the amazing collection of art pieces that covered a wide spectrum of styles and cultures. Although, the museum began as a Chinese museum focusing on the Qing Dynasty, it has expanded over time to include fine art pieces from Italy, Russia and Israel, as well as beuatiful contemporary sculptures. The gift shop was well stocked, beautifully kept and unique in its stock. The prices for tickets are more than fair with over 20,000 square feet since they expanded!!!!! And the new video introduction with Jack Belz is informative as well as well put together. The staff is very educated about their subject and more than willing to answer any questions....oh, and they have great learning stations through out the Museum.over all, There was Jade, Ivory, Bronzes, Cinnabar, Pottery, Paintings, Scrolls, and Cloisonne..... Amazing place in Memphis, TN!!!!!!
