The annual Sun Fun Festival offers something for everyone. The festival is held all over the heart of Myrtle Beach and on the South Strand. Activities include a 5 Km run, a cat dash, the Miss Sun Fun and Miss Bikini Wahine contests, light shows, bubble gum blowing contest, Little Olympics, sailboat races, air show, food, music and much more. Contact the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce for details and schedule. Admission is free.

It was nice"BUT"

Foul/ rude talking teenagers made my daughter not even want to go out.The small hotel was great the Sand castle was beautiful.We managed to salvage the trip but never did get rid of the Rude teen agers.

It Was Strangly unlikeable

my children screamed and hated it.so did my wife and i.There were young trouble makers everywhere.If you have small or sensitive children don't go !!!!!!!!

good retro fun

think of all your childhood parades and great cotton candy times. this is kind of like that y'know, beauty queens, hokey floats, bands, all that jazz....it's family fun...and people line the streets and there are good events through the festival time. worth visiting then if you like that.
