Ripley's Aquarium, Myrtle Beach

I have been to other aquariums, and this one pales in comparison. It only lasts about an hour, and it is so crowded that you can't even enjoy yourself. Most of the aquariums I have been to have a "flow" to them, but this one felt like a free for all. It is too pricey for such a small aquarium.

Maintaining exhibits of this quality is expensive, they do a great job! It costs more than most area attractions but it is worth it!

The noon high tea was exceptional! Could not begin to see everything during the 1-1/2 hour time allotted.

My husband and i went here as part of our honey moon and I absolutely loved it.

we took our 6 grandchildren to the aquarium and i think the adults enjoyed it as much as the children. it was quite expensive for a family of 14, maybe they should give lower rates to children under 12. but, all in all, it was a great place to go.

this was our first visit and we loved it.. our 3 year old son had a blast there.we are a military family and on leave for a few weeks but didnt want to go too far from base .. we went for a night to the area and thought this would be a great family outing and boy was we ever right. the staff were very friendly and helpful while we were there we also walked around the area that surronds the aquarium,i forgot the name of the place.. but i would highly recommend this place to anyone who comes to visit the area or lives in town .we are planning anouther trip there soon just to see this again

We thought that the Ripley's Aquarium was way over-priced, especially for as small as the place was. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

very overpriced, really not worth the money at all.

It was very interesting and our 2 kids, ages 10 & 13 really enjoyed it too. Really liked the Titanic exhibit---it was cool and informative. There were also some hands on exhibits where the kids could touch a sting ray and a horse shoe crab!! I would recommend this to other families.

We have taken our daughter several times. She is 6and never gets tired of the exhibits. While my husband enjoy going it's too expensive and usually so crowded people keep bumping into you and it's not a very good experience. I think if they would reduce their prices somewhat and have some sort of organization where everybody was't standing on top of each other to view the exhibits it would be a much more pleasureable experience. However, kids love it and they have alot of beautiful exhibits but I still think it's to much money for what you get. I guess alot of the traffic that goes through this attraciton are people whi have never been before.
