Myrtle Waves Water Park, Myrtle Beach

This part was never open during the Easter season. It would have been enjoyable to try it out, but they don't open early enough in the year.

That was one of th ebest experiance in my life. I plan on going back this summer again.My little sister love it because she learn how to swim there and we all had a great time.

If I had a chance to go back I would defenantly go back.It was very relacing.I loved it.

The park is too small for the amount of visitors it receives. We went on a Wednesday and the lines were ridiculously long. This is due to the very limited number of rides the park has versus all the people visiting the park. The wave pool was nice but a little dirty when we visited but that is to be expected with all of the people in it at the time. I have been to Dorney Park, Jolly Rogers in Ocean City, MD and Wild Water Counter USA and they were all ten times better than Myrtel Waves plus they were cheaper. All these parks had many more rides than Myrtle Waves and were a lot cleaner. The only good part of Myrtle Waves was the food prices. They were fair for a park and the food was better than most places. My family did not stay for the entire day (more like a half if that) and my sons don't ever want to go back.

The people were rude and did not understand that people actually pay a GOOD DEAL of money to go there because they were slow and the slides were dirty and nasty I wont go back!!!

I see this place going out of buiness in les than three years. This place is over priced and seems to be going down heel.

We went to the water park this afternoon. We will never go again to Myrtle Waves. We have been to another water park in Myrtle Beach that was much better. There were not many slides, and not enough rafts. By the time we waited for a raft, and got down the slide, 30 minutes have passed. The Arooba Tooba slide, had the dirtiest landing area. If anyone if interested in a water park try a different one. We will not ever spend the money to go back. We Spent about $25.00 a ticket after coupon, and it was not worth it.

Waste of money. Not much to do, very small water park. No up-keep, place seems very old and run down, as if owner never puts any money into park. Drove 2 hours to get to park and realize now how much more we could have done with our money. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do for what you end up getting. Next time my family goes to Myrtle Beach we will stick with the beach, mini golfing and great dining and shopping. Even my children were disappointed!!

I went with my son, and they made us ride an innnertube that didn't distribute our weight evenly, although tubes were available that would have been sufficient. the tube was also too big for the slide, so it kept getting stuck. we ended up flipping over, and they kept sending people down one right after the other, without stopping. Since I was still stuck on the slide, frantically trying to protect my small child from the adult bodies flying down behind us, I was pummled again and again, and had to scream bloody murder for several minutes before someone finally blew an emergency whistle. Even then, the young girl operating the top of the slide ignored it and sent another person down. We were all injured, and our days ruined. Until the park puts some safety guidelines in place for the slides, I would not recommend this place.

I didn't like that the water was soooo hot on such a hot day. The water needs to be warm but when the heat advisory is 112 degrees you can't have the water be super hot like it was when I visited it. All other rides were great and I still had a lot of fun despite i wasn't really cooled off. I loved aruba tooba!!!!!! Really really really fun!!!!
