Landmark and Lifetime

I grew up behind Adventure Falls Golf in an apartment complex. Every weekend, when my father came home from the military, he would take me to play a round of putt-putt. The octupus, which I uploaded a picture of to this site, has been a local landmark for nearly two decades (the course was constructed in 1989 -- if my memory serves me). I would beg my father to let me play both courses (animal and castle) so that I could enjoy all of the sights and have my spine tingle when entering the various caverns.
Playing putt-putt was not my only attraction to Adventure Falls Golf; I learned how to ride my bike in its large parking lot during the off season and I also played in the woods behind the facility. When I became a teenager, the courses had not been well taken care of, and my fascination with the attraction began to diminish.
My husband and I recently revisited Adventure Falls Golf to find that its entire structure had been renovated. The greens are new and springy, the paint on everything has been redone, the bathrooms are CLEAN and flawless, the staff is friendly and appears to care about whether or not you are having a good time... the attraction has definitely recovered from its few year lapse into the dark ages!
and, on top of all the improvements, the eighteenth holes on each course still guarantee a free game of putt-putt for a hole in one! I HIGHLY recommend visiting and enjoying a game or two.
