Ripley's Motion Master Moving Theatre, Myrtle Beach

This was not worth the money and not what I was expecting. There were no 3d glasses and it was overpriced.

this was the worst thing i ever spent money on..... i had 2 teenage girls that wanted to ride this and i thought i would like it too, i love 3D things, first off we had NO glasses things were blurry and it knocked you around so much i felt like i had whiplash when i come out ( gave me a headache) worst thing i thought it was anamiated! now tell me how believeable was that? will NEVER ride this again!!

i went to a similar attraction at the excalibur hotel in vegas and theirs was way better. same visual effects quality but there was 3d glasses which made it better, none at myrtle beach. The ride seemed more realistic at vegas location. Also we got three shows instead of two and still paid less money. Not worth it.

I came down to MB for spring break and brought my teenage daughters to the moving theatre we all had a blast the whole experience only lasted about 15 minutes but it was really fun! I think kids will especially like it :-)

The idea seemed nice to have a 4-D/3-D experience. We took our two children (9 & 10), myself and husband. It took forever to get in the theatre. They told us there was some "technical difficulties", we found out later that there was actually a person that go "sick" and they had to clean it up before we could enter. Then it took forever to get started. When it did finally start, the screen was real fuzzy. We had our 3-D glasses on, but it was evident that they did not have it properly focused, which gave you a nauseaous feeling. The scenes are erratic, skippping from one angle to another. You're riding an old wooden rollercoaster, then a big 4x4 Monster truck, snowmobiling, dune buggies. Many scenes show just the sand, snow, the air and your moving at the same time and you feel like you have lost your bearings, which gives you the sick feeling. Now I realize how easy it would be to get sick on this moving theatre. Please don't waste your money - You do not get what you paid for, you get taken!

The experience was awesome! We will definetly go back again. At first, I was dissapointed by the first show (there were 2). The second show (motion madness) was great. It was thrilling and very captivating. I recommend it for anyone in the area. Both shows took about 15 minutes. It's not that rough, but you have to get off the chairs slowly to prevent dizziness (it's not that big of a deal)

Lots of hype for not a lot of action. The two shows did not have good plot lines, and they were over quickly. It was expensive for a poor show. You are much better off going to a regular movie. There are a lot of other options that are more fun. It was an experience, but not a highlight by any means.

I'm sure exactly why this attraction is garnering such negative reviews because my family loved it! We were there in July of 2007. First off we DID have 3D glasses given to us on the way in. Second we actually got to "ride" 2 movies, one about a runaway logging truck and the second a film called Motion Madness where you sample many different things that move. I'd estimate the 2 shows took maybe 12-15 minutes although I did not time it. We even used a coupon that saved us I believe it was $2.00 per admission found in many of the MB coupon books. I'm just sorry some had a bad experience. Maybe they just expected too much.

This was a very good experience although it's not reccomended for people with motion sickness.... I felt sick alot of the time, and found myself with my eyes closed as well. hahaha. The snow affect was very cool though. I would do it again despite feeling sick. Don't go right after dinner. haha

It snowed in the theater! It was awesome. It was like the riding the real thing. I would do it again in a heart beat. (Which is much faster after the ride!)
