Crocodile Rocks, Myrtle Beach

I just checked my mastercard bill from this place and they overcharged my card by $20. They are thieves. The piano players are very entertaining but they are all about raking in the cash. Songs were going for $20 to $50 bucks which is fine if you have a money tree. That is sadly not the case for everyone though. The staff other than the piano players are miserable people. The bouncers were very rude and the bartenders are not friendly at all. I will be contacting Mastercard to take action about the incorrrect charges to my credit card.

We go to Crocodile Rocks every time we visit Myrtle Beach. It is a guaranteed good time!

My family and I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Broadway at the Beach to look around and came across this bar. It was $5 to get in, but it was also valid for entry @ like 3 other bars. We contemplated, but decided to go in and check it out. It was the best $5 bucks ive ever payed to get in a bar. The pianists were amazing. I put 3 requests in and they were played within 10 mins each. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun, great time.

We have been to Crocodile Rocks every year for the past 5 years. The piano playing has always been great and wait staff works hard. This time when we arrived at the door and presented discount coupons we had gotten from our hotel, the lady said "We don't take those anymore-just these" and showed us a different type of coupon. Ours did not have an expiration date on them, however, she refused to give us the $2.00 discount. It was only TWO DOLLARS EACH!!! (There was a $10 per person cover charge.) Once inside we noticed that all of the tables were full, as was seating at the bar, so we had to stand. They have two levels, however the upstairs seating was blocked off. When my husband asked a staff member when it would open up, they said whenever management tells them to. A waitress came to us and asked if we wanted something to drink. I politely replied, "When we get some seats we'd be happy to order drinks." She said they were setting up the bar upstairs and it should be open soon. Moments later, the upstairs opened and we ran upstairs to get a seat. Got our drinks and were finally able to relax and enjoy the show. The "piano men" were great. For those of you who have never been to Crocodile Rocks, here's how it works: They had 4 guys who work in pairs, each pair plays for an hour, so there is continuous LIVE music. They take requests written on napkins (with a monetary donation) After a set, they do a few group numbers (LOVE the Journey songs and Seven Bridges Road!) Some even went out on a limb and tried songs they weren't familiar with and made the best of them. They always do a college fight song contest and this time Virginia Tech won (had the most money put on stage), however they didn't know the fight song so they sang the Hokie Pokie, which was pretty funny! They also do a North/South contest "Dixieland vs. Yankee Doodle Dandy". Clearly this is the way they increase their (well deserved) tips. One guy, I think his name was Danny, brought out his fiddle for the Devil Went Down to Georgia-and he was fantastic! Definitely a fun time once we got past the rude staff. We stayed for over three hours. Will definitely be back.

If the management would spend more time on the club rather than groping the employees, it could be a better establishment. Very uncomfortable working environment, unless you like the extra attention (manhandlers in management and ownership- not all of them, just a select few)

The bouncers were looking for a fight!!! One of them (had to be 300lbs) slammed a friends(maybe 175lbs) head into ground 3x's while his hands were up as if surrendering. One of the guys n our group went to ER for stitchs. The whole thing started over a group of 15(us) not being able to move outta the entry way fast enough. We werent instigating anything!!! Sounds crazy but oh so TRUE. 5 guys in our group were pounced on for nothing and two wives and a girlfriend left in tears. Not a fun time!!!!!

Great bar, spent around $75 on just songs! Had a great Boston vs New York for us! Of course Boston won! Great time, can't wait till next year so we can go again!

This is the BEST place to go for a good time. We look forward to Crockodile Rocks more than we do the beach. We love it.

It was the best $10 I ever spent. Get there early so you can see what's going on. Had to leave early because our friends had something to do the next day. I won't leave early the next time

The whole Celebrity Cicrle is like Disney World for people who like drinking and good music. Crocodile Rocks is the best bar out of them all.
