Alabama Theatre, Myrtle Beach

My son is 2 and a half and he didn't move for three hours!! He loved every minute of it. He laughed and sang and danced. Loved this show

Saw the show tonight! Wow! What a show!! Great costumes, dancers and singers. Tammy Cochran was a delight to see and hear, and Greg Roles is such a great host. We will go next year too.

My husband and I are snow birds who spend our winters in Myrtle Beach. We have seen several shows, but for some reason hadn't made it to the "ONE" show. We attended last week, and what a delightful surprise. The show was wonderful. The dancers and singers are great, and the master of ceremony was funny and charming. We were amazed to see one of our favorite country music singers at the theater too. Tammy Cochran sang Angels In Waiting! What a surprise to see a real life country music star! Up close and personal. She was very sweet and down to earth and spent much time speaking to us after the show too. We will go back, again and again.

Every March my husband and son and myself come to the Alabama Theatre. The show is part of our holiday. This past March we came to see Anne Murray but did not come to the One Show - Anne Murray was excellent but the holiday was not as complete for our son Jamie (Downs Syndrome- 38) not seeing the Show. Jamie loves to chat with Greg Rowles and the other performers after the show. We certainly will be returning next March.

I liked the theatre itself and the fact that it was a family friendly atmosphere. The show was, in my opinion, just average. Production-wise it's as impressive as any other, but the talent did not really compare to that of the Carolina Opry with the exception of one female singer. Aaron Burr is a good dancer and I'm glad he's a part of the cast. Perhaps I went to see the show on an off night, but I think they need to raise the bar a little.

WE WERE TO THE SHOW ON JUNE 18TH 2007,WE HAVE BEEN TO ALOT OF SHOWS ALL OVER THE STATES AND THIS WAS THE BEST OUR ENTIRE FAMILY HAS SEEN. WE LAUGHED OUR BUTTS OFF. THE COMEDY WAS THE BEST. SEVENTEEN .... WE LOVED IT !!!!!! IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY TO SEE 17...... UP AND DOWN 17.......... THE MILLS FAMILY

I like all the cast especially Greg and Victoria Huggins. We have been bringing our grandson for years. Planning on coming this December. I have been to Carolina Opry, Dixie stampede and Alabama. The others are good but Alabama is MY FAVORITE.

I hadn't read anything bad about the show but I still had my doubts. It turned out to be in North Myrtle Beach (which is another city all together from Myrtle Beach...about a 20 - 30 minute drive from Myrtle Beach). Once we got there they hand you your tickets and tell you that you can stand in line for a free $10 in store certificate. If you wait in line it turns out to be a time share deal. We didn't end up waiting I just went to the first person waiting and asked her if she'd been able to determine what the line was all about (it looked like a line that would take a least 15 minutes to wait through). Anyway, we were ushered to our seats and as soon as we sat down Ricky started talking. He was well worth getting there early to see. He's quite humorous and gives comic relief throughout the show. The show itself was outstanding. I wondered how I would like a show that just involved singing and dancing but without a doubt it was well worth the money paid! At the end of the show there were even fireworks outside the theatre. I don't know if they have that every night but it was a big treat! I think that even if you have little ones you should go. It's good for all ages!

WE SAW THE "ONE" SHOW AT ALABAMA THEATER 5/17/2007. THIS IS A FANTASTIC SHOW...VERY WELL PUT ON, AND WORTH EVERY PENNY! ALL MUSICIANS, SINGERS, DANCERS AND THE COMEDIAN VERY PROFESSIONAL. GREAT COSTUMES. SOMETHING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO ENJOY.

I've been to the Alabama Theatre previously and was impressed enough with the theatre and the show to return when we were in Myrtle Beach (and at the show on 6/17/05). The staff are all really nice and the theatre itself is nice. But even if those 2 things didn't exist or weren't as good as they are, it would still be an excellent experience! I have to tell you the "ONE" show is absolutely super - I beleive even more colorful than the last time I saw the show. Anyone who goes to MB, SC MUST see the show or it's their loss! Special applause to Gail Bliss - a DYNAMIC entertainer and a genuinely kind person. It's hard to walk out of the theatre and not want to go back in and hear her perform some more! Kudos to the Alabama Theatre - you're doing it right! I've seen other shows in Myrtle Beach and there is no comparison! Linda Evans
