Isle Of Palms County Park
With 600 feet of ocean frontage, this public access beach is a great place to come and spend the day. Lifeguards are on duty for safety during the high season and there is plenty of parking available. Stroll the dunes boardwalk, set up a family get-together at the designated picnic area, play sand volleyball and let the kids enjoy the play area. Or just rent a beach umbrella and chair and while away the day reading a good book. Snack and drink vending machines are available. Restaurants are within walking distance. Open sunrise to sunset. See their website for further information.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to part our RV there during the day and it was just like having a room at the beach.
We would recommend this site for anyone that wants to park at the beach for the day.
