Understated importance.
Thaddeus Kosciusko is someone you never see mentioned in the history books, yet he played an important part in the American Revolution.
Kosciusko is one of the most universally well liked figures in the American Revolution. He had no ulteriot motives and was a true freedom fighter throughout his life, whether here in America where he lent is his engineering expertise to the American cause or fighting for independence in his native Poland.
This memorial proves that without help from our foreign friends such as Von Steuben, Lafayette and Kosciusko, independence may not have been won. Highly recommended.
