Belle Isle Restaurant & Brewery, Oklahoma City

Our family went on a Thursday evening, no one even aknowledged that we had been seated for over 5 minutes despite us looking around and making eye contact with 4 other servers. Our waitress actually bused 2 other tables before we FINALLY asked if some one could take our drink order! She had a negative attitude from then on- promptly brought our salad/soup and plopped it down without a word and walked off to visit with the 1 other table she had. We asked if they were spread too thin on staff- Nope, just a busy night...talked with the manager- we didnt want anything for free-just to let him know service was poor, he said he didn't understand the whole story and all I can offer is an apology... What? How about thank you for letting me know?! My husband and I have both waited tables, so we can be both sympathetic and critical- but if a customer gives you a complaint-that's an opportunity- you should be on the clients side not your staff. We were disapointed and WONT BE BACK. Unfortunate because the food and beer is good, we liked the atmosphere, and it is reasonably priced...
