Lucky Star Casino, El Reno

Traveled especially to this casino for the Hall & Oates concert. Already knew it was GA, no seating (except VIP). We had not been able to find information on the concert venue. It was a "tent" venue. The lines were super long to go in. All the lines were inside the casino, so it made for a very crowded hectic casino. But we had already decided we wanted a comfortable place in the back, so we played slots while the lines dissappeared. No problems. Alcohol was easily accessible. Security was not a problem. Enjoyed the concert. Had read good reviews on the "REZ" restaurant so we decided to try it. Didn't wait long to get a table. After sitting about 10 minutes, I flagged down the hostess to ask who was waiting on us. After another 5 minutes or so, the waitress finally came to take our drink order. We went ahead and put in our food order for fear of waiting longer for her to come back. I noticed the waitress walk off and tend to the other tables. She refilled drinks and took plates away. Another 5 minutes or so go by, no drinks, even though all her other tables are getting refills. So I finally see her go into the "drink" area, assuming ours are coming. Instead, she walks out empty handed into the casino area. By this time, I was not even hungry! I was so looking forward to trying this restuarant. It is not big by any means. So we left. We didn't even feel like gambling there anymore. We probably won't go back, no matter who's in concert.

NO SEATS...had to stand in line for two hours to get in, folding chairs for Vip seating only, couldn't find anybody to give me my money back for 4 tickets purchased last June,stood for a while and had to move to the back...my wife has dislocated vertebre in her back and the body heat from every one was too unbearable. Don't know if the Indian Tribes are exempt from Fire codes but this is a very unsafe gathering of drunken people ever. I have a new purpose in life now.....use every contact I and everyone else we know to seek justice on this place......

Hall & Oats concert 9/15/12 Over sold concert so L.S. removed ALL chairs except VIP section. We were pack in the concert like cattle! Standing like a sardine for the whole concert. We were told we bought seats. Casino would not refund ticket money before the show even started. This was our third conert at L.S. and it will be the last! Very Disappointed!!!

1. No assigned seating 2. No chairs for Gen Admission. 3. No A/C 4. Water, $2 each 5. The sound was horrible 6. On exiting an IDIOT security guard harrassed me. The Lucky Star Casino in Concho? It's just a road apple in a cornfield - MUST AVOID

Concert venue is HORRIBLE! It's a big tent in the parking lot. The GENERAL ADMISSION tickets are ridicules. They have you wait in line for hours. Then, because they are so disorganized, they started taking people FROM THE BACK OF THE LINE so they could get everyone seated before the show (Ron White). This was so unfair for those who came early to get in line and waited in the worst smoke-filled casino I have ever seen. They don't have adequate staff in the snack bar or restaurant to take care of the additional people and the wait for a sandwich was 30 minutes after placing the order! Then we had tickets for Boston and if they had not already been purchased, we wouldn't have gone! And it was even worse than Ron White because they had the general admission area STANDING ROOM ONLY with no chairs. We stood for hours in line, then stood for the concert. That's over three hours of standing! And it was unbearably hot! Ron White wasn't too bad with the heat but because they tried to cram in as many people as possible for Boston and had everyone standing, it was so terribly hot! I'm sure it was a fire code violation with as many people as they tried to cram into the venue!

We have been going to luckystar for years, and it is a two hour drive,the staff is nice, the casino is very clean, and after going to several casino's in the state can honestly say this is the best.

Liked: - Being able to interact closely with the entertainers - The staff was professional with the exception of one security staff member - thought he was a real cop! Dislikes: INCREDIBLY HOT - POOR ventalation! HORRIBLE Seats (Folding Chairs) POOR Sound - Speakers sounded like WalMart Special (Perhaps not even that good) The Audio kept going out! Pissed Joe off so bad, he shortened his act from frustration!

My husband & I live in the Texas Panhandle & played TX HOLD'EM at this casino alot. They had a card that you use to earn so much money per hour that you play & believe me we played alot of hours. Well I decided to cash mine in because you could get your cash anytime you wanted. Well they said the system was down & I would have to wait until next time this happened several times. In October I went back to cash my card in & was told they had done away with that card but I could still get my cash but guess what the system was down. I went back in the first week in March they said that it had to be cashed in by Janurary 31 or you loose your cash they didn't bother to send out a notice to people informing them that there was a deadline. I am soooo mad & will never step foot back in that RIPOFF CASINO ever again & I will tell everyone I know that goes there to find another one to go to.

We were stranded at your casino over the Christmas blizzard in OK. The staff was great, even helping us get out of our RV as the door was frozen shut. They also hand shoveled us out so we could leave. We will be back. Also a good variety of slots with payouts comparable to other casinos.
