Sooner Theater
Description
Oklahoma City's neighbor to the south, Norman, is probably best known for being the home of the Oklahoma University Sooners, but there are some more refined pursuits to be found here, too. One such institution is this 70-year-old theater, which hosts events year-round. Show-goers can choose from several types of performances, staged by local entertainment companies like the Cimarron Circuit Opera, Norman Ballet, and Stone Soup Theater. Some major national tours make a stop as well, and previous seasons have had shows by the Second City Touring Company and Asleep at the Wheel.
