Gopuram Taste of India, Oklahoma City

I have eaten at Gopuram many times over the last two years. The service is consistently excellent. It's one thing to read a review from someone who eats one time at a place.. Take this one from someone who eats there at least once a week. Food is amazing! One of the best dining experiences in the city.

On my recent, and no doubt final trip to this restaurant.... This restaurant is not clean. I have seen roaches and I have seen food on the plates, crusted over. I wish OKC had a better Indian restaurant. Srinu.. S/W Eng in IBM.

i went with my family to gopurum restaurant.they were serving stale food in the buffet,i politely asked the boss (so to speak).he was so rude that i wantedly making those accusations.i was so upset for many reasons.he has no concern to my daughter and my wife he was talking so loud like a lunatic,any way we left.but the point is we all should send a strong message to the owner which include both the husband and wife that this shouldnt happen to anyone i dont know how but i need all of your attention. I am dinning in Gopuram since last five year or more, first restaurant I tried oklahoma city after moving from bay area. First time I got to knew about this restaurant thru festival arts and since then I am dinning in Gopuram once a month. Very beautiful restaurant, though time to have lil face lift. But, wonderful food and great service, other Indian restaurant does not even come near to this restaurant. SHOW ME ONE OTHER GOOD RESTAURANT WHICH CAN COMPETE THIS REATAURNAT IN DECOR SERVICE AND FOOD.Gopuram keep the good work up.

Visiting from New york and had never been to Oklahoma or say to Oklahoma City, we New yorkers are fond of seeing big things. When I arrived at OKC airport I thought I may only have choice of Mcdonalds or Burger King as by 8.30 pm Airport was dead. Inquiring from middle eastern accent cabby where can I get good food after having a tiresome day of long flight time, he asked me about my choices, being a cold weather I showed my interest in curry or hot food and he brought me to gopuram. I have eaten so many times indian food in Newyork, Orlando, LA, San=francisco and in Huston but this was my one of the best experience ........ambience, decor, service, food presentation and price just right. No ifs and no buts and when i am writing this I read some negative reviews and I am surprised ........some people may have bad day. I will conclude ....ABSOLUTLEY BEST RESTAURANT, I am impressed and I recomment highly

Always friendly service and very fast - we get takeout from Gopuram several times throughout the year. We have also dined in at least 6 times and have never seen any bug problems. Wait staff is excellent and always keeps our glasses full.

I asked to order from the menu, and the waiter discouraged that, suggesting I could get the food from the buffet. This restaurant is not clean. I have seen roaches and I have seen food on the plates, crusted over. We really need a competitive Indian restaurant in Oklahoma City.

This restaurant is frankly not consistently clean. I have seen bugs on the two occasions I gave this place a chance. The buffet is quite stale and I have concerns about the hygiene. The service in inattentive. Often one needs a drink with spicy Indian food, but the management has too few servers. I rarely post negatively, but this place is a gyp.

I was disappointed by everything about this restaurant. The buffet was suffering from having been out for hours. The wait staff never inquired about drink re-fills. I like the spices of Indian cuisine, but one appreciates having liquids to put out the fire. The place was not especially busy, so it was not clear why the service was so slow. This was my third and final trip. I wish OKC had a better Indian restaurant.

very different kind of restaurant, looks very simple fro outside but gorgeous from inside, very fe restaurant has this kind of ambience. food quality was so good and staff was so friendly and helpful. young owner gave us tour and complimentry sampling. must visit restaurant
