Cedar Point Amusement Park, Sandusky

This was my 3rd trip to Cedar Point but 1st since 1992. I thought it was awesome back then, but now, WOW!!! The rides are absolutely incredible! Top Thrill Dragster and Millenium Force are the 2 best rollercoasters on the planet. Dragster is just unbelievable! The Power Tower, Wicked Twister, and Skyhawk were also extremely cool rides. Then you have Magnum XL-200, Maverick, Mean Streak, MaxAir, Raptor, Gemini, just so many great rides it truly seems like an endless list. Also, food and drink prices are cheaper than most other parks I've been to and are reasonable as well as prices to rent lockers. It's also a very clean park and the employees were very friendly. This was the 4th park I've been to this summer, and Cedar Point was the cleanest. It was cleaner than Holiday World when I was there and Holiday World won the award for cleanest park in 2006 so go figure on that one. Bottom line: I recommend Cedar Point to anyone as no other park in the world can even touch it. It's been named the #1 park in the world 9 years in a row for a reason. I can't wait to go back again next summer!

THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!I loved it so much!!! It had all kinds of stuff to do!!!It would probably take two days to do everything!!! It is my number one vacation detination!!!

Great place for the whole family. My in-laws take our girls for a day while hubby and I ride the "big rides", then we all have a family day on day 2. Perfect!!

I have taken my kids (16 and 14) to many parks - Disney,Universal, Bush Gardens, Kings Dominion, Hershey - Six flags - and this is the ONLY one that my kids have literally begged to go back to. i will warn you - if you are roller coaster fanatics like my family is - it will spoil you. Nothing compares to Cedar Point !!!!! We are going again next week - aug 1 '07 - i am definitely excited and can't wait to ride the new Maverick!!! This will be my 2nd trip and certainly not my last. We absolutely loved it the first time we went. It is the one of the cleanest parks that i have ever been to. It is a 10 hour ride for us - but worth every minute of it. The waterpark is also great! Definitely have to get the 2 day pass so you can visit both.

cedar point was okay but i dont know why people love this place.i guess i am not a big roller coaster fan but i dont know many people who would wait an hour and a half for the raptor.food was bad and prices were outrageous.it was at best average

I go to Cedar Point every summer and I swear everytime I go, it just gets better and better!! Ride their new coaster Maverick!! It is AMAZING!!

Growing up 45 minutes from Cedar Point was wonderful. The only problem with that is all the other parks around the country and world I have been to don't live up to the thrills I experienced during summers at Cedar Point. My husband and I joke that Cedar Point ruined us! Now when we visit other parks we expect too much. If it's coasters you want they have the best and every type. There's fast, steep, hilly, smooth and relaxing, jaw clenching, bone shaking, feet hanging, standing, twisty turny etc. I highly recommend this park to everyone. For those that are not coaster enthusiasts this park has everything you could possibly want too!

You pay a ton of money to go and they have seatbelt regulations ( if the two inch red strip on the seatbelt doesn't go all the way past the belt while buckled you will not be able to ride the ride. Embarassing after waiting in long line.

The people are freindly and kind it is a family "thrill" park. Some say you cannot have it both ways but Cedar Point does IT! Cedar Point is for families I have brought my family there from when they were seven till now. My daughters are 19,16,and 12 they love it. Cedar Point has something for everyone for the riders and the non-riders alike.

We just got back from Ohio and we spent two days at Cedar Point. We have two boys, 14 and 10 and we all had such a great time. The rollercoasters are "sick". My son tells me this is really good. We have been to Disney and Hershey and they do not compare to Cedar Point for thrill rides. The newest rollercoaster the Maverick is fast, smooth and definitely lives up to the hype. We spend some time at the waterpack too and it was great. The slides were fun, the water was warm and there was something for everyone. The two day ride and slide pass is the way two go. You can spend two full days in the amusement park and two full days in the waterpark. We are already talking about going back next year.
