Niagara Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau, Niagara Falls

The Convention and Visitors Bureau has been replaced by the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation, which is a much more solid operation. The convention center is now occupied by a casino.

The bureau and the center are gone, and so is about half the city's population and fun things to do in the downtown. The city itself was once very charming but has since fallen on hard times when the industry left and blight, crime, population loss, and a succession of corrupt administrators took its toll.

I went on the site and there is nothing listed for information on the Overstock merchandise event, in fact the only information that was on the site was for a ski show that was way passed. What are we paying the powers that be for, to promote the events at the convention center when they can't even keep their website up to date. I live in the city and I can't even find out what is happening here I can just imagine someone from another city of state looking for information, no wonder our tourist money keeps leaving our city for Canada they promote the heck out of all their events!!!!

what a dreary disgusting hole of a place we immediately went to Niagara Falls Canada & stayed there had a great time what an amazing difference between the two places. Its like going from a 3rd world country to a commercial extravaganza & you feel a lot safer in Canada. first & last time to NF USA that's for sure

i am amazed that this sight does nothing to inform a tourist of what is available. it does nothing to attract someone to visit the city. i wanted to find out about an event at the convention center and there was nothing to be found. in fact there was nothing that would even make me want to book a convention at the center.

I am planning a trip and would like a brochure together with a park map to help me get oriented. I am sure someone prints one, and think a visitors center would get many requests for this. Other than that, the site did have info for hotels and some attractions. I also would like more info on goat island, do you drive there? Whats there?
