Rainbow Air, Inc, Niagara Falls

Cost is $85. If you are not visiting Canadian side this is the bext best thing to do. Lot of fun. Especially if you are from India dont miss this. Ask for Pat Proctor. I'd highly recommend you do this ride. I made my mother who was 60+ to try this ride. She loved it too. The total ride is 8 mins.

The ride was good- aerial view of the falls was very beautiful. They charged $85 per head (with a requirement of minimum 2 people, and max of 4). The part I did not like is them asking for a tip at the end. I felt like they were begging for it, sort of, and paid them. I've also heard that else where (not near Niagara) for this price you get almost an hour long helicopter ride, and here its just around 10 minutes. So by that standard, this is pricey. But if you are not really looking at the cost-value equations, ride and the view is very enjoyable. For photographers, this is a good opportunity. Though the helicopter is closed, it has a window that you can slide open and put the camera out through. That allows one to take good pictures. Even other wise, I saw that the glass doors were pretty clean, and hence I could take pictures across the glass and they came out good.

This was our first trip to the Falls. The view was amazing! The kids were scared at first but the ride was so smooth that feeling quickly passed. The staff was friendly. We went on a weekday and only had to wait about 15 minutes before taking flight. Would recommend this to everyone.

As a Colorado native, my family and I have toured Niagara Falls in every possible way, or so we thought. This helicopter tour was an experience that well surpassed any imaginable expectations. Our pilot, Jim was not only an exceptional pilot, but a well informed and enthusiastic tour guide. As a family of four, we decided to take the 30 minute tour, and it was thrilling every second. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

I was trying to enjoying the state park along the Niagara Gorge, that adjoins the Discovery Center, with my family. This helicopter flew right over the park twice every 10 minutes at very low altitude when it could have flown over the road or the parking lot, at least. We couldn't enjoy our time in the park because we couldn't even hear each other, and we were under a pavilion. This place has no respect for the falls or the tourists enjoying all the falls has to offer, it only cares about the almighty dollar. I amazed this has not been addressed by the city or state for noise violations!

We visited Niagara Falls for a few days. On the day we were planning to leave, we thought we would try the helicopter ride. We arrived at 9:30AM and were told that the helicopter had been rented for a couple of hours, but should be back by 11:30. We didn't think that was too bad, so we grabbed breakfast and went back at 11:30. We waited another 15 minutes and the lady at the counter told us that the people who had the helicopter wanted it for a bit longer but would be back no later than 1:00PM. So, we figured we waited this long whats another hour. So we return at 12:45PM only to be told that she had just talked to her manager and was told that the people who had the helicopter wanted it even longer and had no idea when they would be back, but we could wait around if we wanted. What a waste of time. Maybe I should send them a bill for $85.00 for every ten minutes I wasted.

We were received in a friendly and courteous manner. The trip was explained to us clearly and we felt safe and welcome throughout. Spectacular views and service. We will come again. Thank you very much.

helicopter is gorgous! the pilot was very well and gorgous. assistants nice and gorgous. ride was fun and gorgous and view was gorgous! everybody had a gorgous time! pictures turned out gorgous!

The Rainbow Helicopter Inc. tour of Niagara Falls was the most exciting, breath-taking and memorable experience I have ever had in the entire region of Niagara Falls! I am a resident of this city and I have seen The Falls, both sides of the border and from every angle, repeatedly. Niagara Falls is an awesome place to be, however, I was never rendered speechless by any view here until I took this airborne tour! It is worth every dollar, and parking is free, to boot! The staff is outstanding in every way. Smiles abound. Their service is safe, courteous and clean. Come and see The Falls from the ground, get familiar with the area and then take to the skies with these great guys. Their trip is a bargain for a unique souvenir made in the blue above the world�s largest volume of falling waters! If you only do one thing in visiting the region then take in the view from a Rainbow helicopter. It will be an unparalleled thrill to remember!!

I was recently in Niagara Falls for a helicopter ride. The price as mentioned by State Park was $65(for 15 minutes) whereas Rainbow had a price of $70 + $2.10 as credit card commission. The ride by Rainbow was promised for 12 minutes but it ended in 8 minutes. To top it all, the ground crew asked for tip for the pilot.....I would hate to equate the pilot with a waiter in a resturaunt since I am a pilot myself. Overall it was a sad experince for the price paid.
