Niagara Wax Museum
Located close to Niagara Reservation State Park and the Rainbow Center Factory Outlet, this museum features life-like wax figures of many of the Niagara frontier's early explorers. Father Hennepin and Robert Lasalle are included, as well as modern-day daredevils who have gone over the Falls in a barrel. Other displays include Indian villages, historical street scenes, how electrical power is made, and the Ice Bridge. Aside from the wax figures, the museum also has a collection of maps and other artifacts related to the Niagara Frontier. Admission: USD7 for Adults.
I went with my husband, it was a cool thing to do on an unexpected rainy day while visiting his parents.. We showed our kids the pictures and they are excited to go next time we visit their grandparents up north
Where's the wax? The only thing wax in this museum was a candle sitting in one of the exhibits. Not only was there a smell, the place was dark and dirty and extremely hot. And yes Princess Diana looked like a man wearing a dress. This place was a big disappointment. Should we say false advertisement? If people are smart save your money and stay away.
As soon as we walked in I commented about the horrible smell. It is not worth your money at all. It was dusty, dirty, and the videos there didnt even work. The wax people looked really bad, especially Princess Diana. She really did look like a guy! Dont go!!!
This was probably the WORST museum I've EVER been too. The "Wax" people looked more like store manequins with bad wigs. Princess Diana looked like Hulk Hogan. Totally rediculous. The entire place smelled like a wet basement. It's was really REALLY bad. It's costs $6 with the $1 off coupon. It's not even worth it, if it was free.
