Book Corner (The), Niagara Falls

I had never been to The Book Corner before despite having lived in the area for some time. I had some used books, and I was hoping to get some cash for them, but honestly I just wanted to get rid of them. I had heard of the place around town, so I went there, and talked to a guy who I later found out was the owner. I have never been treated so downright terrible by a store owner in my life. His store buys and sells used books, yes. However, he started going on about how many used books he has, and how I was a pathetic loser for thinking that he would buy mine. I actually was laughing through the first few seconds of his rampage because I thought he must have been joking. But when he just kept going and actually told me to get out of his store unless I wanted to give him the books for free, I realized that he wasn't joking at all. Ironic thing, I would have given him the books for free if he had just said he can't really be buying used books at the time.

I was born and raised in Niagara Falls and used to go to this place as a young girl where I spent hours uninterupted looking at books and daydreaming. I moved out of the area and was recently back, viisted the book store and could not believe how much better it was then I remember!! Bright, clean, a great selection with helpful staff, the only down side being I didnt have enough time to really browse after I made my purchase, can't wait to go back!!

My experience with this bookstore was horrible! I phoned the store inquiring about a book title and the owner told me he was too busy and to call somebody else. Seems that he doesn't value my business or anyone else's, for that matter.

We went into this store while in the falls, it is off the beaten bath but is full of books on Niagara Falls. We found a really neat children's book in that store called ABACA Flows Over Niagara Falls along with many adult historical books on the falls.
